For the second day of my 3 Days, 3 Quotes Tag I’ve decided to talk about a quote from my favourite series. I love quotes that create a picture in your head and really get you thinking about your own life. You guessed it – a Harry Potter quote is coming your way!
‘But though Death searched for the third brother for many years, he was never able to find him. It was only when he attained a great age that the youngest brother finally took off the Cloak of Invisibility and gave it to his son. And then he greeted Death as an old friend, and went with him gladly, and, equals, they departed this life.’
– Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling
This quote is one of my favourite parts of all the books and is my all time favourite moment from the films. I love the whole tale as told by Hermione, but I particularly adore the story of the third brother. This is such a vivid moment for me and has huge meaning behind it. I think it really teaches people to enjoy life, the good and the bad. This will always be one of my favourite quotes.
Stay tuned to find out the third quote I’ll be featuring for this tag and who I’ll be nominating to join in. Happy reading!
