It’s been a while since I’ve participated in Top 5 Tuesday since my blogging break but I couldn’t resist joining in with this week’s topic! As always, Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Shanah @ Bionic Book Worm and today the topic is Books I Want To Re-Read. I’m not a re-reader at all (I just don’t have time with all the unread books calling me!) but I often think about what books I’d like to lose myself in all over again.
Harry Potter – J. K. Rowling
Of course this would be first on my list! I adore everything about this series with all my heart and if I had infinite time to read I’d have this on a constant loop. I grew up in this world and I certainly haven’t grown out of it. Plus, with it being such a huge book series I’m bound to find new moments with every read.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower – Stephen Chbosky
This is my favourite book of all time. It might seem slightly odd to have only read your favourite book once, but it was so precious to me that I can’t bring myself to read it again. It meant so much to me at the time of reading and I’m just worried it won’t be the same the next time round.
Kensuke’s Kingdom – Michael Morpurgo
This is one of the first books I remember reading all the way back as a young child in primary school. It was such a wonderful story and I thought about it for many years. I could never remember the name which really troubled me but when I finally found it again I just knew I’d have to re-read it one day!
The Catcher in the Rye – J. D. Salinger
The Catcher in the Rye is another book I studied at school, but this time for my GCSEs. I really enjoyed the book and thought it was so interesting and poignant, especially considering all the controversy surrounding it. I’d love to see what I thought about the book without learning about it along the way.
One Of Us Is Lying – Karen M. McManus
I read this book this year and it still hasn’t been beaten as one of my favourite reads! I won’t say much about it as I don’t want to spoil it but I’d love to wipe my memory and get to experience this story all over again!
It felt wonderful to be involved in Top 5 Tuesday again and I loved talking about books I’d love to re-read. Maybe one day I’ll find the time to sit down to some of my favourite novels again. What books would you like to re-read?
Happy reading!
Been wanting to give the Harry Potter series a reread as well!

Hopefully one day we’ll find the time, it’s just so long when there’s so many other books to enjoy for the first time!

Me too! I’d like to see if I could find clues reading it again, too. Although I’m convinced I wouldn’t!

Omg yes to all of these! I’ve not read kensuke’s kingdom since I was much younger so it would be so good to read it again as an adult 😊

I really want to read One of Us is Lying, I have been putting it off for a while but everyone seems to love it so maybe I should just read it now. Also I still haven’t read Harry Potter 😔 I need to I know, I actually expected it to be on more of these posts

It’s so fab and I hope you give it a go! I wasn’t sure at first because of all the hype around it but it was definitely worth it. Ooh I hope you read Harry Potter, too!
