As a huge Disney fan I couldn’t resist trying out the new Mulan Mystery Box from Wily Fox Vintage, a company who create Disney inspired mystery boxes and sell products fit for every princess. I love Mulan and find the merchandise quite sparse so I was excited to get my hands on some exciting bits. I’ve ordered a mystery box in the past and loved it! The box itself was £9.99 (exluding postage) so I thought I’d give the box a go and share it with you guys!
The first thing I pulled out of the box were two little wrapped parcels. They contained a Mulan pocket mirror and hanging heart. I love little bits like this so that was a really nice surprise. They are both great quality and really beautiful, especially the sparkly heart. The photo choices were really unusual compared to the typical images of Mulan, but I liked this, particularly the image of Mulan in her ceremony. The pocket mirror is really dainty so it will be perfect to throw into my bag.
I also got a print and a pencil (which is definitely my favourite item in the box!). The print is another interesting image which I didn’t expect to see in the box. It’s matte and is on good quality card so I’ll definitely be pinning this up in my room. Now, onto the best item in the box. How amazing is this pencil? Dishonour on you, dishonour on your cow! We all know this is everyone’s favourite Mulan moment so I was pumped to see this in the box. I’ll be using this at every given opportunity!
The mystery box also included two vintage items – a toy and a key ring made by Wily Fox Vintage. To be honest, I did laugh when I pulled these out. Unfortunately I wasn’t a huge fan of these as I don’t use many key rings and I know I won’t display the horse anywhere. But, that’s the risk you take when you order a mystery box.
Overall, I did enjoy this box and I’m glad I took a chance. I love surprises and it’s safe to say I got a few great items that I’ll definitely use. I love ornamental things and stationary so the hanging heart and pencil were perfect for me! Not all of it was to my taste, but that’s okay. I’d definitely recommend Wily Fox Vintage, especially their general Disney Mystery Box where you get a whole host of mixed items.
