Lush Cosmetics Review: #BathArt and Exclusive Shower Gels

Untitled Design(80)

I am a huge Lush fan and sometimes I love to share different things with you guys so I thought my recent Lush haul was a perfect excuse for a blog post! I am a bit of a self proclaimed Lushie, using their products on a daily basis and always finding ways to treat myself. I love trying out exclusives and new products to review and share. Today I’m going to talk about the Bath Art collection of reusable bubble bars and exclusive shower gels.

What did I buy?

Reviews:

Candy Bubble Brush

The Bubble Brushes were created with bath art in mind. We know how pretty a Lush bath can be and now you can create your own art by painting with the Bubble Brush. I found this fun but my creations were not Louvre ready (I’m just not a natural artist!). Just wet the brush and use the bubbles to draw!

This is  a gorgeous, sweet smelling bubble bar very similar to Snow Fairy, so it’s perfect for fans of the Christmas scent who miss it all year round. The candy scented brush creates the brightest, most vibrant water colour and the smell lasts, even on your skin. These bars seem to create minimal bubbles that don’t last very long so if you’re a bubbles person you might be disappointed.

Verdict: ★★★

Honey Drips Bath Oil

I’m not always a huge bath oil fan as I hate having sticky skin but I loved the pink and green colour combination so I couldn’t resist giving it a go. Honey Drips has a really unique scent which is both sweet and sensual thanks so the honey and jasmine. I got two baths out of  the melt as it was so huge which makes it a bargain. I felt smooth and conditioned after my bath and smelt divine.

Verdict: ★★★★

Avocado Wash Shower Gel

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered this shower gel but I loved the bright green colour and there were so many positive reviews so I took the plunge – and I’m so glad I did! This gel packs a really zingy and refreshing punch. It’s full of citrus smells which complements the creamy avocado. I once saw someone compare it to a Twister ice lolly and I think they’re right. The gel lathers up really easy and doesn’t feel greasy on the skin.

Verdict: ★★★★

American Cream Shower Gel

This is easily my favourite product I ordered from the #BathArt and exclusive shower gels. American Cream has a subtle strawberry milkshake inspired scent which I have fallen in love with. I’m being so careful with my uses so it lasts as long as possible! It’s got such a soft lather which moisturises my dry skin. I also love the pink colour which reminds me of my favourite milkshakes. This is perfect for those days where I need some love as it feels like a hug in a bottle.

Verdict:

I hope you guys loved reading about my Lush haul as much as I loved writing about it! I’ve been enjoying indulging in these sweet treats for the past month. Unfortunately you can’t buy the exclusive shower gels at the moment but you can get yourself down to your local store to try some bath art with your choice of a candy, lemon, or mint reusable bubble brush.

Happy reading!
